Marissa Monopoli

Dr. Marissa Monopoli grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where her path to veterinary medicine was carved at a young age as a volunteer at the Marine Mammal Center. She studied Zoology and Italian at The Ohio State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then returned to California to complete her studies at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where she was president of the Student Veterinary Emergency Response Team. She graduated with honors and published multiple research studies pertaining to avian medicine.

After veterinary school, Dr. Monopoli completed a one-year rotating internship in general medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan. After a few years practicing in New York City, Dr. Monopoli is excited to return to her favorite city and provide exceptional care for new clients and old friends. Her veterinary interests include radiology, ophthalmology, and wellness. In her free time, you can find Dr. Monopoli roller skating, practicing yoga, cooking, and spending time with her eyeless cat, Stevie.
